privacy

Your information should serve your wedding.

Effective 5 August 2026. This policy explains how Joined.love handles personal information for website owners, guests and visitors.

Information we handle

For website owners, this can include names, an account email address, wedding details, website words and images, settings, support messages and limited payment records.

For guests, information entered by a couple or guest can include names, invitation groups, RSVP answers, contact details, dietary requirements, notes, gift claims and gift suggestions. Stripe processes card details directly; Joined.love does not receive or store full card numbers.

Why we use it

We use information only to create and operate wedding websites, authenticate owners, collect RSVPs, run registries, provide support, process a launch payment, prevent abuse and maintain the service.

We do not sell personal information, run behavioural advertising or charge registry commissions.

Who can see it

Wedding website owners control what they publish and which privacy options they enable. A published site can be visited by anyone who knows its address unless the couple enables a shared password or guest access codes.

We use service providers to host and protect the application, store data, send transactional email and process payments. They receive only the information needed to provide those services. Those providers currently include Cloudflare, Supabase, Resend and Stripe.

Storage, security and retention

We use access controls, row-level database security, encrypted HTTPS connections, private server credentials, signed payment webhooks and rate limits. No online system can guarantee absolute security, so owners should still avoid publishing information they do not want shared.

Websites have an expiry date. We send an advance reminder where email is configured and delete a website and its associated data six months after expiry. Owners can also ask us to delete an account or website sooner, subject to records we must retain for legal, fraud-prevention or accounting purposes.

Browser storage and basic measurement

Joined.love uses browser storage for sign-in sessions, privacy-gate access, editor preferences and preventing duplicate visit counts. We record limited page and referral information to understand use of the landing page. We do not use third-party advertising trackers.

Your choices

Website owners can edit or remove most information from their dashboard and can make a live site private. Guests should contact the couple responsible for the wedding website to correct or remove wedding-specific information. You may also contact Joined.love to request access, correction or deletion where applicable.
